"China now owns the United States economically, with the Chinese central bank being the largest debt holder at approaching $1 trillion dollars. The average American family with two children collectively owes around $12,000 dollars to China. The Communist state’s ownership of long term U.S. Treasury Securities means the United States pays upwards of $100 million dollars a day to China in terms of interest alone" - China Owns the United StatesThere's something about television that makes Americans unaware of what's happening to their country to not care. I can't quite put my finger on it how it all works, but the television turns people into zombies for sure. So if a typical American hears some bad news, it doesn't matter because all they have to do is go watch their favorite television program and the problem goes away, right? Not!
-According to the A.C. Nielsen Co. the average American watches 3 hours and 46 minutes of TV each day (that's more than 52 days of nonstop TV-watching per year).
-By the age of 65 the average American will have spent nearly nine years glued to the tube.
-Parents spend 38.5 minutes per week in meaningful conversation with their children is 38.5 - Source - SoundVision.com
So China now owns our country and America's manufacturing base is dwindling while third world countries are largely performing American laborers' work? Americans are apparently oblivious to the take over of their country because they're too busy watching their favorite television or sports program. Certain awake Americans are attempting to wake up the rest to what's happening. Predictably, the addicts prefer to go on living as they have.
I stopped watching television in 2007 and my brain has been in recovery mode ever since. I watched 3 hours of television a day on average, sometimes more. I honestly think television is responsible for the deterioration of American culture. Reading or even listening to talk radio stimulates the human imagination and mind. Television's destructive in my opinion, especially to children's development.
So the average American spends 9 years of their lives glued to the television? That kind of addiction explains the mess we're in.
