Mel Gibson to Be Charged - Faces Possible Prison Term

Looks like Mel Gibson's about to have criminal charges filed against him by the Los Angeles District Attorney for hitting his ex girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva and mother of his young daughter last year.  According to today's The Sun's article, Mel's about to be charged.  Other sources claim it's still being decided if Gibson will be charged.  If Gibson's not charged, it's clearly another demonstration of gender discrimination and how men work together to cover-up for their manly image in the justice system.
"The Los Angeles District Attorney has apparently granted Gibson's criminal lawyer a last-ditch meeting late Tuesday afternoon, as she sought to persuade authorities not to charge the actor with any type of criminal domestic battery or abuse in a felony capacity." - HuffingtonPost.com

After posting Gibson's crazy rants and behavior in my previous post, I'm surprised it took this long to bring Gibson to justice. He's a cruel man whose completely out- of-line. Gibson obviously has a serious anger management problem exacerbated by alcohol abuse.

I guess I'm kind of unique because I've never seen a Mel Gibson movie in my entire life. I've only seen sound bites of Gibson over the years and I've never liked any of what I've seen.  I don't find Gibson attractive at all, to me he's nothing more than a jerk.  All I've ever really seen is Gibson rants on YouTube videos and that was enough.  Imagine this guy's wealth and all the opportunity and resources he's had!  Yet in one of his phone recorded rants Gibson complains to Okasana she's the only friend he has. Gibson let his shallow Hollywood psyche take over to amplify ridiculous petty issues his girlfriend recorded for public consumption.

Whoopi Goldberg did women an injustice everywhere to come out in support of Gibson. I completely lost respect for Whoopi for supporting Mel Gibson.  (See Whoopi Goldberg Defends Mel Gibson on The View.) It's clear many kinds of women support men when it comes to abusing women by covering up for them. Whoopi had no business coming to Gibson's rescue only demonstrating what a coward Gibson is to need the help of a black woman to support his domestic abuse activities.  For those unaware, Okasana is a classical pianist trained at a top London music school.  Okasana patented a music copying method and also taught music to children. (See Okasana on Wikipedia)

My favorite actor is Michael Douglas who I'm happy has been surviving quite nicely from his throat cancer surgery to recently present a Golden Globe award. Truly amazing! It just goes to show the media can't be trusted. The media made it seem like he was going to pass any day, yet Douglas has been seen walking the streets of New York, presenting awards and even planning for new movie roles!(See Michael Douglas Still Got Something to Celebrate - Coffee Today)

As America Dies Americans Watch Television

I guess some people think it normal these days when a President approves of a historic enemy's flag being placed on Constitution Avenue, Washington D.C. in honor of a leader's visit; others don't.  I don't know how it's possible idiots in Washington allowed China to buy out the U.S. economy without any backlash as it has, but it's true.  China now owns America economically!  According to a new study, Americans have been too busy watching an average of 34 hours of television a week to notice their country's being handed over to foreigners. (See Average American Watches 34 Hours of Television a Week)
"China now owns the United States economically, with the Chinese central bank being the largest debt holder at approaching $1 trillion dollars. The average American family with two children collectively owes around $12,000 dollars to China. The Communist state’s ownership of long term U.S. Treasury Securities means the United States pays upwards of $100 million dollars a day to China in terms of interest alone"  -  China Owns the United States
There's something about television that makes Americans unaware of what's happening to their country to not care.  I can't quite put my finger on it how it all works, but the television turns people into zombies for sure.  So if a typical American hears some bad news, it doesn't matter because all they have to do is go watch their favorite television program and the problem goes away, right?  Not!

-According to the A.C. Nielsen Co. the average American watches 3 hours and 46 minutes of TV each day (that's more than 52 days of nonstop TV-watching per year).
-By the age of 65 the average American will have spent nearly nine years glued to the tube.
-Parents spend 38.5 minutes per week in meaningful conversation with their children is 38.5 - Source - SoundVision.com

So China now owns our country and America's manufacturing base is dwindling while third world countries are largely performing American laborers' work?  Americans are apparently oblivious to the take over of their country because they're too busy watching their favorite television or sports program.  Certain awake Americans are attempting to wake up the rest to what's happening. Predictably, the addicts prefer to go on living as they have.

I stopped watching television in 2007 and my brain has been in recovery mode ever since. I watched 3 hours of television a day on average, sometimes more.  I honestly think television is responsible for the deterioration of American culture.  Reading or even listening to talk radio stimulates the human imagination and mind.  Television's destructive in my opinion, especially to children's development.

So the average American spends 9 years of their lives glued to the television?  That kind of addiction explains the mess we're in.

The New Designer Contact Lens Craze - Where Will It Lead?

I didn't think these kind of contact lenses were possible but I already see where this is all headed.  When the masses get comfortable with these trendy designer contacts, the manufacturers will begin putting computer chips in them so people can access wireless devices using the lenses as monitors.  People will no longer need hand held devices and will likely even be able to control the computer devices of the future with their thoughts.  They're already working on computers that respond to people's thought commands. So there you have it, this is most likely the next wave of computers.

This first contact above is from Christian Dior called The Dior Eyes that are currently being released in Europe. - Link

Keep your ball on the eye!  German optician Stephanie Berndt shows off a soccer ball contact lens in Munich. The lens is paired with a German flag lens in a set that sells for $54.  (Link)

These seem like special honeymoon evening wear lenses.

"Designer Anthony Mallier from India has created ‘Sparkle' contact lenses to make your eyes “Sparkle like they've never sparkled before.” Imagine having tiny Swarovski crystals beaming out of your eyes? Sounds insane but at the same time hot, the Swarovski crystals surrounds the edges of the lenses to create that “sparkle”." (Link)

For the less sophisticated lens wearer, here's good ole Mickey Mouse contact lens.  Have people really lost their minds and souls to this kind of blatant corporatism? Imagine a company's logo! What if employees had to wear their company's logo to work?  (Link)

For people who want to look like reptiles and cats. (Link)

Nike MaxSight contact lenses are very functional, but also very weird. Each one is designed for a different sport; this one is red and is designed for cyclists to reduce the road glare from the sun. (Link)

Let's just hope corporations don't get funny ideas like using people's eyeballs to advertise to a person they're speaking with based on their key words in conversations.  Society's going nuts, there's no doubt about it.   I'm burnt out on all the hand held gadget obsession happening, just imagine what people will be like 10 years from now with their new computer eyeball equipment?

Female Embezzlement Exploded in 2010

Many of us from the 1970's era will never forget Helen Reddy's #1 hit I Am Woman pop song.  In her acceptance speech for Best Female Performance, Reddy famously thanked "God, because She makes everything possible".

2010 was the year of the woman in many ways including being the primary stars of this post.  Thanks to these featured greedy few, women can no longer claim the moral high ground when it comes to gender issues.  As some visitors may be aware, I've been providing an ongoing multi part blog story on those charged with or convicted of embezzlement over the past few months.  A few days ago Marquet International Ltd. announced it released the 2010 Marquet Report on Embezzlement, an annual study of major embezzlement cases in the United States.  The study consisted of 485 active cases in the U.S. with more than $100,000 in reported losses.  Here's a few noteworthy findings from the study:
  • The average loss was nearly $1 million
  • The most common embezzlement scheme involved the forgery or unauthorized issuance of company checks
  • Two-thirds of the incidents were committed by employees who held finance & accounting positions
  • The average scheme lasted more than 4½ years
  • The average prison sentence for major embezzlers was just under 4 years
  • Nearly 2/3 of all incidents involved female perpetrators
  • Nearly 20 percent of all losses were inflicted upon financial institutions
“Sadly, 2010 was a banner year for employee theft in the United States,” said Christopher T. Marquet, CEO of Marquet International. “It is staggering how much money was stolen from companies last year by their employees, spanning many years in some cases before getting caught,” he said.

The study also reported some conclusions Marquet derived by combining the data from past three years’ reports:
  • Women are more likely to embezzle on a large scale than men.
  • Men embezzle significantly more than women per scheme.
  • Perpetrators typically begin their embezzlement schemes in their early 40s.
  • By a significant margin, embezzlers are most likely to be individuals who hold financial positions within organizations.
  • The Financial Services industry suffers the greatest losses from major embezzlements.
  • Gambling is a clear motivating factor in driving some major embezzlement cases.
  • Only about 5 percent of major embezzlers have a prior criminal history.
“Rather than stealing because they have severe financial problems, we found that most major embezzlers appear to be driven by greed or a need to live a lifestyle much more lavish than they could not otherwise achieve,” said Marquet. He added, “While the bad economy may have had something to do with the large number of cases we identified, there are other drivers motivating these white collar criminals and there is always an ambient level of fraud, theft, waste and abuse in any organization.” - Christopher T. Marquet, CEO of Marquet International.

Storing Antibiotics In Case of Emergencies

I remember back when I was young I used to feel immortal  listening to great music while driving my blue RX-7 sports car around the beaches of Southern California.  I can't really remember what that feeling was like anymore but I do know it was a very delusional and arrogant state of mind to have.  One becomes more humbled and down to earth when they go through near death or serious health issues.  Just the idea that life could end in a millisecond is enough to shake anyone out of the strong hypnosis of the world.

Well, I've confirmed I'm pretty much slowly dying now, or at least this is my gradual awareness I'm no longer immortal coming to light.  Each year I start out with mild cold that turns into a major bronchial infection that lasts for weeks.  It's a very serious illness I no longer underestimate. If I didn't have antibiotics it would last months. Last July I was sick for three weeks and that was even while taking antibiotics, though I started taking them late.

This slow lingering death happened because I had walking pneumonia on Christmas day when I was a kid.  Once you have walking pneumonia you're highly prone to bronchitis forever.  All the bronchitis infection needs is a mild trigger to set it off. I usually get bronchitis once a year but this year I've had it twice thanks to the recent cold weather.  Each year the infection takes a piece of life out of me.  That's why I know I'm slowly dying.

For instance, last week I had to get up early to ride my eBike seven miles in 40 degree weather, a far cry from my younger days in Southern California.  That's probably the coldest weather I've been exposed to in decades. It was so cold that when the temp rose to 50 degrees it felt warm and 60 degrees felt like summer.  I had too much exposure to the cold mornings so I eventually succumbed to illness.  The cold was pure misery too, I don't know how people can live in sub freezing temps in New York or Chicago.

Today I was reading Complete Survivalist magazine (pictured above) that was sent to me free in the mail that had an article about how to purchase antibiotics without a prescription such as Amoxicillin.  One of the reasons I couldn't get a head start on shaking the illness back in July was I always had to wait until the symptoms get worse to show my doctor I need the antibiotics prescription.  Doctors don't like over prescribing the antibiotic stuff for some reason.  Perhaps they fear people will build up an immune system to it, I don't know.  All I know is if I don't have antibiotics I think I really would die.

I did some research to discover there are several sites on the Internet from overseas that sell antibiotics legally without a prescription at a reasonable price, one of them is www.4RX.com.  I'm storing up on antibiotics now in case of real emergencies such as economic collapse.  The shelf life is 1-2 years. Please note, as a disclaimer  I can't lawfully recommend what others can do about their antibiotics needs, but can offer this information for educational purposes.
"Even a minor cut could turn into a fatal injury if infection sets in and you have no way to treat it.  Having antibiotics would literally be a life-saver." - Complete Survivalist
As for me, had it not been for this stupid bronchial thing I probably would have lived a long time.  I think this is going to cut my life short, it's that bad.  I'm not afraid of dying but can feel something up ahead at some time that will be the end of me. In any event, I don't take life for granted anymore.

Are Short & Sweet Marriages Becoming the Norm?

A few days ago I got a frantic call from another victim of a family law and divorce attorney I posted about earlier.  The poor lady said she's spent $28,000 and still hasn't gotten her divorce. Her divorce process mysteriously stalled and the attorney's not returning her phone calls. It seems a few greedy divorce attorneys have apparently found a means to profit off the widespread divorce industry and are taking the money and partying at the divorcee's expense.  According to the lady, the attorney is always taking vacations!

Divorce has become a growing trend industry and new venues are opening up such as divorce cruises, divorce cakes and celebration parties. (See my post Scary New Divorce Cake Industry Rising)  I recently learned The Huffington Post has dedicated a section of its online publication to divorce as well.  The publication's slogan is "Marriages Come and Go But Divorce is Forever".  Wow!  The headline for the HuffPost Divorce page is The Incredible Shrinking Marriage: Are Brief Unions Now the Norm?

Arriana Huffington discusses why she began a new divorce section of the Huffington Post

It's kind of ironic that gays and lesbians are struggling for acceptance to officially marry while so many heterosexuals don't seem to value their marriages in the long term.  The divorce trend makes the case for gay marriage even stronger.  The sad thing is, gays and lesbians have been known to divorce too, one example being a disgraceful Melissa Etheridge (See Melissa Etheridge Gets Nasty in Divorce! I thought I'd add that I never intentionally listened to Melissa's music and think the general public has had horrendous taste in its singers.)

Perhaps people are just searching for a happy norm in sampling marriages like they do wedding cakes or clothing.  Why get stuck with one person and a ball and chain?  Why is that necessary anymore?  The average marriage goes through a honeymoon period and then tailors off into something many people can't handle for long. The only problem is humanity could go extinct at this rate.  People think the world's overpopulated and it's okay not to procreate, but that simply may not be the case.

Shapeshifter Awareness Is Growing

It seems a lot of fear is engulfing the planet as floods, mudslides, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, dead birds and fish, rising food prices and an apparent shifting of the earth's magnetic fields is occurring.   Speaking of all this chaos and shifting, I thought an introduction to shapeshifters was appropriate.

The first video I've provided  is hilarious but sometimes truth's stranger than fiction.  The video's about about a woman complaining that she continues to date the same kind of man. The author explains the guy simply shape shifts into her next date to create the illusion it's a new man she's seeing.
"Shapeshifting is a common theme in mythology and folklore as well as in science fiction and fantasy. In its broadest sense, it is when a being has the ability to alter its physical appearance. The transformation may be purposeful or not, depending on whether it has been the subject of a curse or spell. In some folklore, once the shapeshifter has become transformed, it becomes progressively more difficult for it to return to its original form." - Wikipedia

This video is meant to be humorous but sometimes truth can be stranger then fiction.

Author David Icke Exposes The Matrix & Shapeshifters

Shape shifting and morphing happens a lot in nature too.  This is a great video example of an octopus that morphed into algae rock.

This clip shows how frequencies cause the shapeshift morphing of sand into sophisticated geometric shapes.

M.C. Escher Eat Your Heart Out!

3D art's sure come a long way since M.C. Escher.  Back in the late 1970's I was amazed at Escher's optical illusions in his converting mathematical formulas into art.  New techniques have enabled today's artists to create unbelievable realism.  These pencil drawings are by an artist in Santiago, Chile named Fredo.  By using cleverly placed shadows, highlights, creative lighting and 3D perspective lines, Fredo tricks the eye into believing that his drawings are actually 3D. The drawing above looks like a real hand, but it's not!

M.C. Escher's Hands Pencil Drawing - 1948

Perhaps the guy in the photo's Escher?

Kind of dark art here but I spared the visitor even darker imagery.

Something tells me this artist must have nightmares!

Online Impersonation Illegal in California

As a view visitors may be aware, I won a defamation lawsuit last year based on default and was awarded $25,136.  The defendant had impersonated me and other victims in blogs and on various complaint sites.  The defendant also sent emails to government officials under my email address including Gavin Newsom.  I conducted discovery and obtained DSL records from AT&T proving lies and exposing the defendant's involvement.  In fact, I had received a lawsuit threat on my former music site songchannels, and exactly a year later I obtained the judgment.  As previously stated in my post The Sad Truth About Collecting Judgments From Lawsuits, I won't be collecting any money because the defendant has no job or assets.

A new door has opened up for those who the police ignored previously when they brought in complaints of impersonation on-line.  In 2009 one such officer, Noel DeLeon, of the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) completely disregarded my complaint refusing to send it downtown for further review by case workers of the defendant who I not only got a restraining order against, but won a judgment against.  The sad fact is that in San Francisco police aren't trained to deal with cyber crimes and have no cyber units let alone computers.  The SFPD officer even came up to my face and in so many words treated my complaint as bogus nonsense claiming identify theft isn't a crime on the Internet.  Under Senate Bill 1411 if it wasn't a crime back then it is now!
"Under Senate Bill 1411, it is now illegal to 'knowingly and without consent credibly impersonate another actual person through or on an Internet Web site... for purposes of harming, intimidating, threatening, or defrauding another person.'
Online impersonation became punishable by up to one year in jail and $1,000 in fines in California this year — and it's not clear satire is exempted." Source

Based on the new law, I now have a strong legal basis to file a criminal complaint with the police department whenever a cyberstalking idiot is impersonating me or taking on multiple anonymous identities to make it appear I'm a hated person. Lawsuits are no longer required!

So whomever is still writing nonsense about me, be advised your work is going to be filed in a criminal complaint with the local police department thanks to the new impersonation law.

As for the cyberstalker's concerns of my name changes over the years who loves to cite my "AKA's", my last name "Merrill" is the one my mother has used since the 1980's and was used as my father's television stage name for 20 years. I've had two last names all of my life "Behunin" and "Merrill".  I changed it to "Meril" in 2008 due to the cyberstalker's sabotaging my name on the Internet. Names I've used are therefore Cheryl Merrill, Cheryl Behunin and Cheryl Meril.  Hollywood where I'm from is full of people who adopt stage names.  It's no big deal to have two last names.  Yelp identifiers such as "Minny" don't count as an AKA.  Virtually no one uses their real name on Yelp these days!

I hope that clarifies how ridiculous it is that the cyberstalker continues to make an issue of my name changes over the past 51 years of my life.  I didn't want the "Mormon" name Behunin that's origin is in Utah and have always hated having to explain its pronouncement.  It's nothing personal against that name, I just found the name Merrill easier to deal with socially. People liked the rhyme and got a kick out of it so why not?

I'm going to take this endless harassment and impersonation to the police under the new law and will build a file. Big deal I had a couple AKA's in 51 years all used by my parents.  Both "Merrill" and "Behunin" are used by my parents to this day!   I know many of you could care less, but I just wanted to clarify it for the record.

Why is U.S. District Judge John Roll Dead?

Prior to this weekend, I had never heard of U.S. District Court Judge John Roll who was killed in the Arizona killing spree.  I since did a little research to learn the judge had many threats against his life for allowing an illegal immigrants lawsuit to move forward in Arizona.
"In February, when U.S. District Judge John Roll presided over a $32 million civil-rights lawsuit filed by illegal immigrants against an Arizona rancher, the Marshals Service was anticipating the fallout.
When Roll ruled the case could go forward, Gonzales said talk-radio shows cranked up the controversy and spurred audiences into making threats.

In one afternoon, Roll logged more than 200 phone calls. Callers threatened the judge and his family. They posted personal information about Roll online.

"They said, 'We should kill him. He should be dead,' Gonzales said.
Roll, who is the chief federal judge in Arizona, said both he and his wife were given a protection detail for about a month.

'It was unnerving and invasive. . . . By its nature it has to be," Roll said, adding that they were encouraged to live their lives as normally as possible. 'It was handled very professionally by the Marshals Service.'" - U.S. Judiciary Facing Rise in Death Threats - AZ Central.com

Judge Roll was also involved most recently in attempting to delay bringing illegal immigrant felons to trial claiming it was overburdening the judicial system and causing a "judicial emergency."

In further research I also learned that back in the 1990's Judge Roll had been involved in a case with Janet Napolitano against chiropractors at New Life Health Center.  Both Roll and Napolitano had a criminal complaint filed against them being accused of  obstruction of justice, jury tampering, perjury, bribery, and conspiracy in Arizona. (See Napolitano 'Committed Criminal Conspiracy' with Judge John Roll Who Was Slain Today)

When people file criminal complaints against judges and those in the Federal government, the government often simply dismisses them.  That's the problem with Federal government, you see; there's really no one overseeing those high up so they can commit crimes and dismiss the complaints against themselves and one another.

These power drunk people in government tend to make a lot of people very angry in our country.  Judge Roll was playing with fire and got burned by some ignorant 22 year old who was probably directed by someone to do what he did.  It's so sad so many innocent bystanders had to suffer the consequences from Judge Rolls' corrupt politics on the bench, especially the little girl.  It's so sad judges have to be such incredible assholes these days being severely out of touch with common sense laws such as border protection.
